Models have often complained about facing constant harassments in the business. Sadly, these are mostly perpetuated by key players in the industry .

A fashion model, Latyfah shares her experience with OT’Chik Models. Hers and other similar cases show that sexual harassment is a menace that needs to be curbed urgently.

Kolawole Latyfah is a fast growing model and mass communicator. She also has dreams of becoming a well known actress and has already taken steps in developing her skill inscript writing.

According to Latyfah, truth and making impact in people are her founding principles.

How did your journey to become a model begin and how long have you been in this field?

It all started when one of my friends launched his clothing line and needed someone to model it, which I did. I was a newbie then though but surprisingly the clothes were sold out within a week.

Initially, I had always wanted to be an actress but my friend told me to pursue modeling saying that it would pave ways for other crafts and that I could easily divert. I’ve been quite on and off in the field so I can’t really say for certainty how much I’ve been in the business. But generally, it all started in 2015.

What challenges did you face while pursuing your career as a model?

Hmm! I will say when I was looking for collaborations then I would text make up artists on my own and photographers. There was this particular photographer that molested me and all but then that didn’t stop me from pushing. There are also other photographers that also wanted me to shoot in bikini /nude. But I’m not the type of model that does such. I am not saying I’m the most decent but I have my limits.

Do you have any regrets so far?

I don’t have any

Aside modeling, what other interests do you have? Are you a full time model?

I am also an actress. Also, during the holidays, I’m a full time model but when it’s time for school I’m a part time model

Where do you see yourself in the next 3-5 years?

I see myself as well known model, actress and script writerwhose stories make impact in the society. I want people to look at me and say “yes she made it without going nude or bikini”.
